This large lamb shank comes from the front section of the lamb and is cut at an angle for upright service. Sourced from forb fed and alfalfa finished American alpine lamb. Approximate weight 1.7 lbs.
We had braised lamb shanks last night (and leftovers today). One shanks was more than enough for a single serving. Very meaty and delicious!

Delicious
Had lamb shanks and risotto for Christmas dinner and we couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of your lamb. Absolutely delicious!

Shanks!
We cooked 10 of these in dutches on a Hells Canyon trip - fabulous flavor and great sizes (you can squeeze 5 into a 14). Larger and meatier than the shanks you get from the grocery! You will not be disappointed in Idaho Lamb from the Siddoway's Ranch!

Great Tasting Lamb Foreshank
Using a recipe by Michele Scicolone, I cooked two lamb foreshanks in a slow cooker. The meal was great. My guest grew up eating lamb in Australia. She really enjoyed it too. They were very tender, very tasty.
